Our June Best Bits (2018)
June was remarkable because I did something out of my comfort zone. I jumped off a cliff!!! We did a team bungee jumping in Danao, Bohol. We had our admin team building for 3 days and 2 nights on the first week of the month. We also went to Panglao and the other famoust tourist spots.
We went back to Pampanga around 4:00 am on Wednesday, and I worked right away the whole day with Attorney Mhe-Ann in the office. It was very productive although we lacked sleep. It reminded me of my sleepless nights while a student at UPLB.

June 9th was the Leadership Conference with Elder D. Todd Christofferson, Sister Christofferson, and the other general authorities held in the Angeles Stake Center. I had to attend as the Stake Young Women President while Michael as the EQ President of our Ward. It was memorable because I was able to talk to an apostle of the Lord for less than a minute when I asked him a question on how to minister to our dear brothers and sisters who are financially in need.
June 10th was the Ward Conferences of San Fernando 1 and 2. My husband who is my number 1 supporter accompanied me. He misses working with the youth organization. It was a great time with the young women. We attended a wedding reception of a co-worker, Jossel in Apalit, Pampanga on the 12th. It was such a blessing to get to know his wife and his parents together with other co-workers, Sunshine, Aron, and Mario. There were plenty of foods!
I also had my major general cleaning/de-cluttering on this day. I don't understand why we accumulate a lot of things so fast. I will need to declutter monthly to assure we only have what we need and what we use.
HAPPY 120TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION to my Beloved Country, THE PHILIPPINES! I love my country so much. I love being a FILIPINO.
The following weeks, we had a series of dinner appointments. June 14th with the Primary Leaders at Classic Savory, SM Telabastan.
June 15th was a day with Japeth Aguilar then dinner at Rhoss's house, our Creative Director.
June 26th was a pizza night with the Gomitas and Sy Couples. Michael's counselors.
TRIP TO LAGUNA on June 16th -18th
I had a separate blog for this special escapade. We had our high school reunion on the 16th. We celebrated Father's Day with my best friends on the 17th. We also had the chance to attend church at Calauan Ward where my dad was the first bishop and visited our house located in Masiit, Calauan.
We spent the last day with my Aunties.
This was my presidential speech and a photo with our Class Adviser, Mam Saberola.
Oh the 20th of this month, I revised my personal mission statement. You can read it here: Nyla's Mission Statement This is the very core of my existence. I encourage you to write your own now.

As per our little princess, she had our first ever solo slide moments at Little People Play Ground. I was lucky that I captured this little milestone of hers. See vlog at Zephrine's First Solo Slide
Lastly, to end this month with a big bang, we enrolled in two classes. We are back to Institue with Sister Ayo Abanggan and we found a speech mentor, Mam Ponio who conducts our weekly Saturday English Writing and Speaking Classes. Through our classes, I learned that my husband is a funny classmate. He always volunteers me!! haha! What a memorable month!
If April is Michael's month for this year while May was mine, July is our baby's. She will be turning 2! This girl is growing up so fast! It's a cliche but well, it's true! Where did time go?
Wishing everyone a great month ahead!
Xoxo,
Nyles
